Braids - “Lemonade”

I saw Braids at the Kanine Records showcase at CMJ; they played before Eternal Summers (love!). I felt like a real asshole during their set because it was SO LOUD and I had to move to the back of the room because apparently I am old now. It didn’t help that everyone in the band had A GIANT BLACK X on one of their hands because THEY WERE UNDERAGE. Anyway, they didn’t blow me away because I’m not really into Animal Collective, who they sound like, but I can’t stop listening to this song, probably because it reminds me a lot of the one Animal Collective album that I really like.
