Adrienne Drake - A Light from the Middle of Nowhere
Noel from Hooray for Earth just sent me a note about his Brooklyn-based friend Paul’s (no, Adrienne’s not a she) new project calling it “futuristic evil electro pop.” Paul identifies with Erie, Pennsylvania, though, having been inspired by “growing up in Erie from age 11… the Erie vibe shaped a lot of how he wrote everything.” Hence the middle of nowhere in the title? To me, this sounds like the center of the universe.
This is the first single from forthcoming album Dullabies which is full of more of this type of heavy goodness.
